Testimonials

Here are just a few of a vast number of testimonials from people who have participated in our 33 Day Detox groups, or have used products we endorse. The Detox is done strictly over email, but with an emphasis on body, mind and spirit, it is a life changer, for anyone who takes the journey seriously. This is a Christ-centered journey.  Whether you believe or not, you will come away a changed person, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

I’ve lost approx. 18 lbs since the August detox and I’m not done yet!  Anyway I wanted to share a before and after picture with you. So you could see the seeds that you’ve sown in people’s lives. I can’t believe how unhealthy I looked compared (next to my uncle) to now. Thanks so much for opening my eyes to this new lifestyle and I don’t plan to go back to the SAD diet again. – G.G.

After Detox

After this 33 days I feel wonderful!! I lost 10 pounds but I feel like I have lost a lot more in inches!!!  I have learned that there are healthy options out there instead of buying Wendy’s all the time… and the great thing is that when I go grocery shopping, I know exactly what to buy… I am so glad to have re-discovered my long lost will power and capacity to pray! I don’t crave stuff in the kitchen at work anymore, and I haven’t drank coffee since I started and I don’t even miss it!! – A.R.

I had some skepticism at first, but actually I find that I feel much better. My body aches feel much better. I recently went to the doctor and my blood pressure and cholesterol were way down. I lost about 10-11 lbs. I did find that if I held myself accountable and prayed more, I was able to withstand temptations, whereas before I would just give in right away. – M.P.

When I began my first 33 days in June, I weighed 162. (After going through the program twice) now I am 140. The weight loss makes me feel great. I weigh less now that when I was first married.  But I think more than that, is the greater physical and spiritual health that I am enjoying the most. My relationship with my LORD has never been so close, I have never prayed so much, and I lean on him much more. I have stopped using OTC medications. I used to have habitual headaches, chronic backaches, a caffeine addiction and a sugar addiction. I thank my God to be free of the caffeine and the headaches, and now my back is more manageable and the sugar is not a hold like it used to be.
I consider this a conversion experience…I see this fast as my wake up to realize how I was putting food and things in the place where only God should reign in my heart.  I am so thankful for this group, and for Maria’s God-given gifts and talents to educate and minister to people. Maria, I admire your compassionate and gracious spirit. Thank you so much for your godly example. – R.D.

When I started the first detox back in March this year I was 141 lbs for 10 years and nothing I did seem to bring it down including running and going to gym for the past few years.  I cleansed 9lbs the first time and I cleansed 7lbs this time.  I am going to use the word ‘cleanse’ instead of ‘lose/loss’ because as one of the speakers in Women of Faith said, when you lose something you desire to find it and I don’t want to find it.  I am now at my ideal weight of 125lbs.  And you know what is amazing is that it cleansed my soul at the same time!  I find that when I allow unhealthy food back in to my diet, I feel and look terrible.  I know that the enemy has just got a hold on me by my feelings causing me to stray from healthy food at times.  I don’t want to be there.   You all have been so encouraging to me and your stories of the changes God has made in you are totally awesome!  Praise the Lord!  – A.C.

I have been on a blood pressure med for a while now. I have been taking Lisinopril HCTZ 20/25 mg.  On the side of the bottle it warns that this med may cause dizziness. Well it did in a bad way, the room would spin when I would lay down or get up too fast. One day it was so bad that I almost blacked out. I stopped taking this med and the symptoms stopped almost immediately. I have a blood pressure monitor and check it regularly.  All this to say, last night I checked my BP and it was normal it was 114 over 75 off meds. This morning  it was good too. To be honest my BP never got to normal levels before, even on the meds.  I will continue to keep an eye on it. But I have to say bye bye meds thank you God for your healing hand (through the detox). I will be going to the Doctor for a check up soon and discussing this with him.  – E.S.

Thank you Maria. Yes, I have lost a lot of inches. On day ten I had lost a total of 9 pounds. I have to thank the group too. Without the encouragement I am receiving from you guys I wouldn’t have the will power to carry on. Knowing that so many of you will be eating the same foods and going to the same food tempting events has helped. My husband still thinks I am depriving myself and my kids just say yuck. Though they have all started eating more fruits and salads. I feel like I am accepting an award and giving a speech in front of millions. Ha! My appearance though is catching the eyes of many. They ask, “Wow, you look great, what are you doing?” or “Why can you only eat that?” I just inform them that I am Detoxing and that I have lost weight through it, but I also want to know how my body responds to different foods. Does milk make my stomach hurt or will I be able to eat beef and not gain weight? This has been a great journey.  – K.S.

Every year about this time I get severe laryngitis.  Last year I got it in October and it lasted until Feb. Finally in Feb I went to my general doctor and he gave me a steroid shot, a steroid pack and antibiotics all at the same time and I went on voice rest for a week. That seemed to fix it.  Well this last week I started to feel the laryngitis coming on one day. I went and bought a Neti Pot and started to use it that day. The next morning I woke up hoarse but it felt different. I began to drink peppermint tea and it never got really bad but never went away. So about 4 days in I asked Maria what to do. She recommended an herb called licorice root. I went to sprouts and found a tea call Throat Care that had it in it. I drank the tea all day for one day and the next morning my laryngitis was gone. I could not believe it. What took me months to get rid of last year was gone in a day. I truly believe it is from the healthy lifestyle changes I have made and the Juice Plus+. I will confess I was not a total Juice Plus+ believer. I had taken it before and I thought I really could not tell a difference. But this time I could, I feel a lot better!!!  – T.V.

  1. Hello There. I discovered your weblog using msn. That is a very well written article.

  2. Hello just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t
loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and
    both show the same outcome.

  3. First of all I would like to say wonderful blog!
I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing.

I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just
seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to
begin. Any suggestions or tips? Many thanks!

    1. Here’s what works EVERY time: before going to bed, apply specific essential oils blends from Young Living (email me on link on blog), and pray for ideas, center yourself on God, and you won’t believe how amazingly your writing will flow from you!! If you have this passion, it will just come out of every cell…but it’s usually stuck, because of daily life interference! Clear yourself by going to the only source that really matters!

  4. Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from
an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things
out pretty fast. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you
have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

    1. Yes! Write what you are passionate about! Use WordPress, because it is so very easy…I don’t understand technology very well, but putting together a blog through WordPress is amazingly simple, and very cost-effective!!
